  • Hello everyone. I'm Violet Murunga i am an off-sight PhD student at LSTM based in Nairobi Kenya. I am in my early stages of the PhD. My research will focus on understanding how African researchers can more effectively promote the translation of researcher evidence into policy and practice. Specifically, understanding the key individual and institutional competencies of researchers that facilitate uptake of research evidence into policy and practice. I will use a mixed methods approach. Therefore, this platform will be useful in both informing my methods and also sharing my own lessons.
