Sara Di Fabio

About: During my academic and professional experience, I have developed a passion for healthcare and related fields. My main aspiration is to become a catalyst for change, contributing to developing innovative solutions to improve people's health and wellbeing. I am dynamic and motivated. I have lived in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. I have graduated cum laude from a multidisciplinary degree at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and completed a MSc in International Health Management at Imperial College London. Being part of a multidisciplinary and international environment, I developed an open-minded approach and a set of tools useful to operate in the complex, fast-paced world. My studies helped me to gain analytical skills that allow me to solve problems paying attention to details without discarding the big picture. Thanks to my master’s degree I further my understanding of how healthcare relates to every other aspect of society, differences in financial systems, the management aspects of healthcare institutions, and the importance of investing in innovative approaches. I have a strong commitment to always explore something new and to be a long-life learner. I have completed an online course (Effective Communication) from the University of Colorado Boulder on Coursera and an HTML, CSS, JavaScript basic course organised by General Assembly. My experience in consulting helped me to develop project management and organisational skills exploring the corporate environment. Whereas, my experience in a small start-up gave me the possibility to foster my research and analysis skills as well as communication and relationship building competencies. Through volunteering activities, sports and extracurricular activities I had the chance to enjoy team working and leadership. Understanding the importance of purpose and motivation, experiencing group dynamics and developing strong emotional intelligence skills. Furthermore, thanks to training activities and internship I could deepen my knowledge about risk management and risk assessment tools, essentials to evaluate any scenario.
