About: I work at the intersection of public health and the social sciences, examining how gender influences health access, experiences, and outcomes. My recent research has focused on temporary migration, disrespect and abuse in labour and delivery wards in public hospitals, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. I am a research scientist and assistant professor at the Ramalingaswami Centre on Equity & Social Determinants of Health, Public Health Foundation of India.
